THE STORY SO FAR...
In 2023, the largest piece of Mars was discovered in Niger, Africa. The rock, named NWA 16788, was recently sold at an auction held in the US by Sotheby's to an anonymous buyer. Niger are claiming the rock is of national historic interest and should not have been sold and needs to be returned to them. Investigations are on going. However, we feel the rock does not belong to anyone on Earth. It belongs to its home; MARS!
Together we will fight for its return to where it belongs.
